All Hallows E'en...sort of

It was a bit odd to be out and about since I've been a recluse for a while, but it was nice to get a round warm 'welcome backs' and 'where the hell ya beens.'

I bailed on the costume thing this year. It was enough effort to go out be sociable. I'm sort of bummed though, since I like doing up a good costume. Had a good time nontheless.

Here's some shots of the fun, courtesy of my friend Nick and his camera. He's the leprechaun.

It was probably a 90% costume wearin' crowd at the Brazen Head Pub here in West Bend. Lots of fun was had by all. These are the things that can happen if you're single. And yeah - it really can be that kind of bar...and often is...

There you have it...just another night in the WB. Mmm hmm, that's right...West Bend, where people love Halloween and girls have just gotta flash. (That might become our new slogan.)

We got some a brazenhead here in columbus as well. I wonder if they are related? I loves the Brazenhead. Just sit me down with a pint of boddingtons and I'm happy for about 15 minutes.

I just fed the hell out of your fish. That things just eats and eats and eats and eats.

Looks udderly fantastic.

I had to.

Joe - Naw...this is a little sole owner kind of joint... But I hear you on the beer. I'm kind of a Newcastle fan myself.

I think that's all the fish does. I've been trying to teach it to speak, but haven't gotten anywhere. How's the llama?

Shelly - That's just darn sad. You should stop studying and go out and party like an irresponsible young lass...

Kris - I'm just shaking my head and groaning...

Cows gone wild?

Looks like fun. I love a good halloween party. Haven't been to one in many years.

Always love it when the babes flash. :p

How come I never see police that look like and have attitudes like that? :(

Happy Halloween, Shawn!

By the way, the Packer defense looked pretty good considering they had to deal with five interceptions. I hope Favre doesn't retire. Everyone has bad games once in awhile. he's still the most dangerous QB in football.

ZS - It's always like that too. Just get yourself some shiney beads and you'll see more than is healthy for a young boy to see...

Those are actually the cops too. It's terrible how many people just do crap to get arrested around here.

The Packers? We may speak of them only in hushed tones right now. The new defensive coordinator this year is awesome though. He took the crappiest defense above high school level and has got them performing pretty well.

Laura - I would have guessed you to be a Halloween party fanatic... There must be some Halloween cheer every year or life isn't that much fun.

The Bengals beat the Packers! The Bengals beat the Packers!

I guess those cute stripey uniforms aren't bad!

Did you see that guy that ran onto the field and stole the ball from Farve? He's all anyone is talking about down here in Cincy.

I posted some pics of Nevada City--I thought you'd be interested.

Eileen - You know I love those stripey uniforms...well, the stripey helmets anyway. I didn't get to see the game at all, but the world seems remarkably nonplussed about the fan guy. I haven't tuned into any local radio though. That's where they all go nuts. And I wouldn't be too excited about being the Pack...I'm pretty sure they've been scouting the local high schools to fill their roster.

Sadie - I forgot how cool Nevada City is this time o' year.

But seeing the Sushi In The Raw sign has got me hungry for some sushi...and there's no sushi nearby. I will sadly settle for some noodles...

Josh and I went to Sushi in the Raw the last time we were in Nevada City. It was so good! By far the best sushi experience I've ever had.

Sushi is pretty good in our humble Nevada City. Have you ever tried Sushi Q? We have a great new restaurant next to Cafe Mekka called Tortilla Factory and all that the name implies!
I'm glad you enjoyed the pics.

Just a nice Wisconsin farm girl... I hope the cow you're riding is a bit more sober.
