Request...

From time to time, I'm moved to tears. This is one of those times. I'm both saddened and heartened at the same time. Saddened by a tragic loss, just one of many that happen every day. And heartened that someone I know - if even only by way of the computer and blog exchanges - is doing something about it. I'm moved by his compassion.

Please, just follow this link and decide for yourself whether or not to get a bit involved. For any who don't know him, Michael is legit. He's a caring man who is doing what he can to help this young Chinese woman out.

damn, that's really sad. That doesn't seem to capture the right emotion, but there's not much you can say to that that will.

Wow, Shawn, I don't know what to say. I can't tell you how much this means to me.

This story just gutted me. I try to keep what I do for others silent and under wraps, because that is just my style, but I felt so strongly about spreading the word in the open on this.

Thank you for posting this and increasing the awareness.

There are millions of people out there who need help, wwe can only approach them one at a time, and I am sure that this woman will turn our good tidings and our donations into a life of compassion.

Thank you for your compassion.

THank you Laura, Slade and Miraanda for yor compassion.
