Whoah...that was weird...

I just woke up from a series of lucid dreams wherein I was sailing and then was castaway, but found a hang glider that allowed me to fly back to the mainland only to go down on the remote Oregon coast near Haystack Rock (which wasn't really Haystack Rock, but was even cooler. Much like in 'The Goonies').

In a small aside here, I should note that my hangliding skills were very good and anyone else would have smacked into the old-growth trees instead of gracefully landing on the small, sandy beach... I am an excellent dream flyer and usually don't even need a hang glider - I must have been doing some lazy dreaming.

Anyway, there were, thankfully, some friends nearby that let me clean up at their place. That was nice and all, but it was pretty crappy of them to not offer me a lift back to civilization. You know who you are...don't expect a lift from me in any of your dreams.

Along the way, I also managed to sink a fleet of speed boats in Florida because they were ruining manatee living environment. That felt pretty good, but might have been the karma that led to being castaway in the first place. Who knows with this stuff?

I also, somewhat mysteriously didn't get fired from my dream job - whatever it was. That was a bit odd, since I apparently had my little adventures during a lunch break from which I - quite obviously - didn't return. Thanks again jerkwads...a lift would have been nice.

I blame this all on eating Punjabi Choley before nodding off. Damn Indian food. Now it's 2 a.m. and I'm wide awake. Grrrr...

Holy shiat, Indian food does that to me, too!!! Channa Masala. Mmmm. The dreams are terrible, but the food makes it oh, so worth it.

Maybe there are ancient mystical spices in it?

Haven't had Indian food in years and I'd like to keep it that way. Me thinks it's mushy yuck yuck.

The English are fond of it because mushy yuck yuck is better than anything the English could dish up. I could probably hit a potato with a baseball bat and what's left of it would be better than anything the English could dish up. So that's not really saying much.

Manitees rule. I love those guys. You go get 'em, Shawn.

As for flying, yeah, I never needed a hang glider. I could fly by either jumping or flapping my arms. Haven't flown in awhile though. Had a nightmare last week about being trapped.

Hey I was just looking at your other site. Love your stuff! We used to have a joke at one of the kitchens I worked in - we'd say "Make me a sandwich!", and someone else would say "Poof! You're a sandwich!"

Guess you had to be there.

The Indian food is most tastey...there most be miraculous mystical spices in it. You're right about the mushiness though ZS...

I usually fly by catching thermals and pick up speed by doing dives which I pull up out of. It's pretty fun and I usually have pretty good control although there's usually a point where I get going too high or fast...oops.

The last time I had a flying dream, a giant crow landed on me while I was flying. He made me crash and I was pissed. Not sure what I ate that night.

Brooke - I'm glad somebody stopped over there. It gets so lonely... It's sort of my learnin' site where I try to figure out how to do the website stuff.

By the way, we used to have sort of similar stuff to say back when I worked at a deli.

Depends on who I eat it with...;)

I'm jealous. I don't have weird dreams like that. Well, I could, but I don't remember them. Maybe my subconsious is protecting me by making me forget? Not a big fan of Indian food. The smell of curry makes me nauseous - so there may be food I'd really like, but I'd never know because I can't get within 20 ft of an Indian restaurant.

The curry used to do that to me too. Mostly it's the not-hot curries that have a funky smell...I like the hot stuff.

There's an awesome - okay, it's just pretty cool - Indian grocery down near the mall. I stop in there sometimes to get stuff to whip up. I'm mostly lazy though and just get bachelor dinners...

They have Bollywood DVDs too. It can be an Indian kind of night.

Stupid crow. I haven't had that before, but I have had people try to grab me and bring me down when I'm trying to fly. That pisses me off. I got to the point where I kick their arms. I try to hurt them when they try to drag me down. I want to fly, dang it, and just because other people can't fly doesn't mean I shouldn't be allowed to.

As for Bollywood, don't really like Indian movies, but that other chick (not the one he ended up marrying, but the other one) in Monsoon Wedding was hot. She was sexy and fun too. I don't know why he married the one he married. The chick he married was so boring and unsexy.
