Rumsfeld is the bestest...

The President has a bestest friend. That's so nice. He deserves to have a good pal ya know. And you shouldn't be mean to him 'cause he's gonna keep him forever and ever.

"I'm the decider and I decide what's best. And what's best is for Don Rumsfeld to remain," Mr Bush said.

No news on whether his invisible friend will be sticking around too.

P.S. - raise your hand if you think we'll attack Iran or provoke them into attacking us before the November elections...

I don't see an attack. Too costly, not enough resources, public exasperation with Iraq.

This is what Canadians who respond to polls in the Globe and Mail think:

Uh... you can't see me, but my hand is up. How long do I have to keep it like this?

It's good to be the king. Did you see the comment. Bush is "the decider" [about Rummy]. bascially a big thumbing his nose at all us losers.

I don't know if we'll attack - but there will definitely be some ruffling of plumage before the elections. However, I find it funny that GOP candidates are distancing themselves from Bush for fear his low approval/high disapproval is catchy...

Pnyc - Perhaps just some more saber rattling and talk of the doom that awaits us if we let the Democrats derail our heroic efforts.

Wendy - I wonder why they would think such a thing? Oh wait...because they're basing their opinion on recent history.

Bits - You may put your hand down now. And since you were so polite, you get a gold star.

Laura = It's not really funny...it's more a sign of how shallow and petty politicians can be. Oh say...those are some mighty malleable convictions you've got there guys.

I don't think we'll be attacking. And I AM a neo-con, so my view tends to be close to the administrations.

Michael Savage, however, seems to agree with you.
