New Year

The New Year always offers a sense of new hope for the upcoming year. It's a bit like a candle flame actually - a shining beacon of warmth in the dark night and, yet, so very easy to put out. May the candlelight of your hope be protected from the wind and may it guide you forward to a bright new year.

Cheers.

Your new year post kicks my new year's post's ass. Don't hurt hurt yourself laughing when you watch the video.

Did I punctuate that sentence anywhere near correctly? I lost my copy of eats shoots and leaves.

Melissa...Couldn't tell ya. I was a sports editor, remember? That means I don't know shit about that crazy grammar stuff.

Happy New Year Shawn. Remember a candle not only illuminates your own path but those of all around you.

PNYC - I've always thought that the idea of the candle in the window to guide people home is one of the most beautiful images I've ever imagined.

Can you imagine what a wondrous thing it would be if everyone shared their light with everyone else? No one would ever have to stumble in the darkness.

Happy New Year man.
