I've got to take my Mom to the store pretty soon. It's NFL playoff time and the Packers play this afternoon. I'm pretty sure there's a special place in Guantanamo for anyone caught out on the streets at game time. You think I'm perhaps exagerating a tad... Ask anyone in Wisconsin and they'll probably be able to tell you a tale of an uncle or brother who tried to run to the store on a Packer day and never returned.
So, knowing all that...why is it so hard to get moving this morning? I know I want to get this taken care of as soon as I can, but can't seem to get beyond making a cup of coffee. I guess I just have to grab myself by the scruff of the neck and drag myself whining to the shower and get myself dressed and out into the car.
Or...I could just take a nap.
***Just found this goodie...
It's good stuff and good for you too. The album can be found athttp://www.ottmarliebert.com/rose/. It's a free download. The artists ask that you make a donation to a worthy cause.

Don't get caught out on Packers Day

Your link to the album is not so much broken as missing. But GO HELP YOUR MOTHER before you fix it.
I was indeed a bit distracted. Helping Mom has been accomplished. Now, how about a link?
So what is Packers Day? Any day the Packers play? That seems kinda silly and Gestapo to assume everyone in Wisconsin cares about football (or the Packers, specifically). I say go out anyway and buck the trend! Teach people it's OK not to care! Better yet, do it in a Bears jersey
You'll have to forgive me not honoring Packers Day. :-)
Shawn? Is that really you? Or am I having an LSD flashback from my previous life?
I do think they should keep Guantanamo Bay open and we should legalize torture to those caught on the streets at game time. Exceptions are the senile, the blind, and the handicapable who are struggling to get from point A to point B. Anyone else, torture them. They're probably terrorists.
Bummer about the Packers. Rodgers had an amazing game but our D just couldn't do s***. :(
Oh, sorry Laura and Dbackdad but I think you both need to be put on the list of who needs to be tortured. Blasphemy!
I should be given a pass. I can see UOP Stadium from my backyard and my wife does security at Cards home games.
I know Zslayer...some people just don't understand! And don't worry DBDad, you get a pass. I actually thought about you for a few seconds during the game...and, no, I didn't curse your name. All in all, it was one of the best playoff games I've seen in a long time, despite the outcome.
