Don't you hate it when you haven't really been out in the sun as much as usual and you think to yourself, "Self, today we shall sit out, read a bit of our book and get some sun..." You, of course, agree with yourself and proceed to sit outside and read your book. Much to your chagrine it is overcast out. While you know that you are actually catching rays, it doesn't seem like it so you sit out there longer than you should.
I think we all know the end of this story...

ew.
That reminded me of the time I fell asleep in the sun at the River. My sunburn was like, ridiculous.
I had to slather myself in Aloe Vera gel and it even hurt to walk because the bottoms of my feet got sunburned (I was lying on my stomach).
Needless to say it resulted in a beautiful tan but I'm sure I'll pay the price in skin damage later.
Well, I guess it's too late to warn you. :p
Drink lots of water. And Sadie's 100% right with that Aloe Vera.
I got an awesome trucker's tan on my way through Minnesota. It was sort of cloudy and slmost cold out that day but by the time I got to Josh's my left arm was bright red!
Eileen, you might be the only person I know who would admit to being proud of a trucker's tan... it's part of what makes you so lovable. Sweet pics of the trip by the way.
I have a real tan this year! But it's already fading, dang! Hope you are okay. I know how bad a burn can hurt.
Ahh, Shawn. I know that story all too well. That story, for me, usually ends in an unsavory sunrash on my chest and arms. I feel your pain man. I really do.
that happens to me all the time...i am a redhead with freckles and pale skin...burnt!
umm i never have had that problem and it's probably because my skin is brown. I don't know just an idea...
as far as my picture in the ocean how about you pretend. I didn't even know that guy. I just took the picture. So lets just pretend it's you!
Since I'm pretending... Damn, I look good!
