Sushi rocks

Good Sushi is good eatin'... I had some pretty good stuff last night. They even had Uni, which was bit of surprise. Uni is sea urchin if you're curious. It's not for the faint of heart.

Anyway, in the great scheme of things... why is it that Sushi always takes so long to make? I've never had fast service at any Sushi place I've ever been too.

Maybe this is just one of life's little mysteries...

I would never touch Uni, can't do it. I love other kinds of sushi but, well, I guess I am faint of heart.

In Milwaukee I've only been to Izumi's... That's where I went the other night. It was good and it made my tummy happy.

I never used to like any sushi... now, Ill try most anything. I don't now when I got brave...

I have found that getting older has made me "brave" about things in life. Maybe its my fear of aging that causes me to step outside of myself and try new things. I feel like I dont' want to miss anything!

True dat... I hadn't really thought about it in those terms, but that's probably got a lot to do with my new-found bravery...

Well, here's to getting old! It sucks, but I guess there's good parts to it too...

I get another year older this week!! I never thought I'd be one of those whiney women that cried about having another birthday, but hey, I guess I'm not above being human after all.

We will have to go out and celebrate our "old age" soon, Shawn! Maybe over a carafe of Saki!! :)

Happy birthweek Sassmaster!

Okay... I'll charge up my Rascal so I can leave the walker at home and we'll knock back some celebration Sake!

I should warn you... Sake makes me feel warm and fuzzy and more than a little bark needy though... ;)

Well, I'll be in good company then, because it does the same to me:)

I worked at a Japanese restaraunt and they always warned the whities against the Uni...the Japanese can take it, but we whities have to be careful...hehe

I love sushi. Wasabe, ginger, soy sauce, rich, and fresh uncooked fish, what could be better?
